“Magi i luften” and “De er” are two of the most distinctive basslines she has delivered throughout an impressive career in Danish pop music spanning nearly five decades.

The event will take place in the auditorium, where seating is limited.
Anyone who purchases a ticket to the Guitar & Bass Show has access to the talk. Since seating is limited, starting when the show opens on Saturday, September 12, at 10:00 a.m. at Giersings Realskole on Nonnebakken, you can purchase a seat reservation for 50 kr. to ensure you get a seat.

Søren and Michael grew up together in Fredericia—a friendship and professional collaboration that dates back 40 years. Today, they play together in Søren’s instrumental trio, and that is precisely the topic of today’s clinic. Ensemble playing and a shared musical understanding—equilibrium versus grooves.
Søren and Michael will play a couple of tracks from the album *Guilty Pleasures* and invite anyone interested in the world of instrumental music to join them for a cozy clinic filled with geeky discussions and tall tales from along the way.
SOREN ANDERSEN
You know him well. The omnipresent guitarist, songwriter, and producer Søren Andersen – or Soren Andersen, as they call him outside of Denmark. If you haven’t heard him live with Electric Guitars or Glenn Hughes (formerly of Deep Purple/Black Sabbath), maybe you’ve heard him as the guitar quizmaster on the radio show Take Off on P4? Or seen him on YouTube in an episode of Soren’s Sunday Sessions? You might also run into him at Medley Studio in Copenhagen, where he spends his daily life. Or even better – you’ve heard him at Copenhell, or at a venue in Denmark – AND on the radio station MyRock with his instrumental power trio!
Søren Andersen is a world-class guitarist/producer/songwriter based in Copenhagen – when he isn’t out touring the world. He is one of the most frequently used rock guitarists in all of Scandinavia. He plays – and has played – on some of the absolute biggest stages worldwide in the company of some of the greatest musicians in the industry. Over the past 17 years, Søren has been the permanent guitarist for Glenn Hughes (ex-Deep Purple) and has played with Mike Tramp (ex-White Lion), Marco Mendoza & Tommy Aldridge (ex-Whitesnake / Thin Lizzy), Joe Lynn Turner (ex-Rainbow), Pretty Maids, The Dead Daisies, The Answer, Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Eric Martin & Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big), Electric Guitars, Jesper Binzer (D:A:D), and Sanne Salomonsen… Add to that a long list of guest appearances with members of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joe Bonamassa, Myles Kennedy, and yes, the list goes on.
MICHAEL GERSDORFF
Grammy Award-winning bassist Michael Gersdorff, also known as the frontman for the band Superfuzz – and the ultimate wingman in The Guilty Pleasures Trio. Since the very beginning, Michael has always carved his own path. Instead of focusing on a flashy resume, he has immersed himself in his own world from the very first note as a musician, a songwriter, a singer, and not least – as a bassist. With roots in hard rock and a deep love for the vast tonal universe, Gersdorff has his very own take on playing the bass. It took him all the way to the podium in 1998, when he won a Grammy (now a Danish Music Award) for his debut album, Superfuzz.

What is "The Green Market"?
As something completely new, we are launching ‘The Green Market’ in the basement. Here, musicians can buy a table (only one!) for DKK 100 and sell off used gear. That way, we support recycling, and the sellers basically save the cost of the admission ticket.
From the bottom of our music-loving hearts, we hope you’ll join us in giving the show a fresh start. Good times, gear-nerding, and togetherness are what we value most, and we’ll make sure to provide the great surroundings and the audience.
How do I find the exhibition venue?
